Rachael Taylor, Minka Kelly & Annie Ilonzeh appeared in trench coats and white dresses, seemingly shooting the pilot for the franchise reboot in South Florida. And from the looks of it, the casting choices seem superb.

Rachael is familiar to fans of "Grey's Anatomy"– the Aussie actress is currently in a multi-episode arc of the hit medical dramedy, playing OB/GYN Dr. Lucy Fields, a budding love interest for Dr. Karev (Justin Chambers). Showrunner Shonda Rhimes has explained on Twitter though that the plan all along was for the young star to be there only temporarily. She also starred in the original "Transformers" film.

Minka is best known for her role as Lyla Garrity on the recently wrapped critically acclaimed TV drama "Friday Night Lights."

Annie began her career on "General Hospital" and was the first actress cast for the "Angels" reboot.

Ramon Rodriguez (not pictured) has been cast as Bosley, their main boss, Charlie's, assistant.

There was a question about casting raised from this latest set of photos as well, however. In one picture taken by Getty Images, actress Jessica Gaudix was pictured in place of Minka. A source close to the show told Access Hollywood that Jessica is "a guest actress in the pilot."

The new ABC pilot represents the third incarnation of the female crime-fighting outfit.

The original Aaron Spelling produced TV show premiered in 1976 starring the late Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith. Cheryl Ladd replaced Farrah after the first season. Shelley Hack and Tanya Roberts also played Angels in the original series' run.

In 1988, a television reboot was attempted but never got off the ground.

However, in 2000, Drew Barrymore helped relaunch the brand on the big screen, starring herself, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz. A not as successful sequel, which pitted the Angels against a villainess played by Demi Moore, was released in 2003.
