Juanes Performs on “Today Show”

Latin superstar Juanes performed hits from his new album "Loco De Amor" on NBC's "Today Show" from Rockefeller Plaza Monday morning.

Juanes sang two songs off the album, "La Luz" and "Mil Pedazos," to a packed crowd in the plaza.

"I've been singing in Spanish since I started my solo career, and we have been traveling all over the world singing in Spanish," he said. "It's something very special for us, and makes me feel close to my essence. But at the same time, it gives you the opportunity to connect with people (who speak) different languages. (It) doesn't matter where you are from, music is a universal language."

He is expected to attend this year's Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday.

"Loco De Amor," released last month, is Juanes' first since 2010's "P.A.R.C.E."
