    Police have identified Pedro Nieves, 38, as the murder suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man in Hollywood.

    Pedro Morales, 34, of Hallandale Beach was stabbed several times early Thursday before he was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

    Nieves faces one count each of murder, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cocaine, and a warrant battery charge, Hollywood Police said Thursday evening. It wasn't immediately known whether he has an attorney.

    Police said they received reports of a person who had been stabbed at 6024 Johnson St. at 5:27 a.m. Thursday.

    A witness said Nieves fled on a bicycle, and officres found him at 820 N. 72nd Ave., police said.
