Police Search for Missing Broward Woman

Natalie Anne Belmonte was last seen during the early morning hours Sunday

Police are searching for a missing 43-year-old real estate agent who disappeared under suspicious circumstances.

Natalie Anne Belmonte was last seen with her nephew, whom she lives with. They returned to their home around 2:30 a.m. Sunday after a social gathering, authorities said.

Authorities said they found her cell phone, wallet and car at the home, which is suspicious and leads them to believe there is foul play involved.

Captain Dan Rakofsky, of the Pembroke Pines Police, said authorities were searching for her by air and waterways. They also checked dumpsters in the area. He said that in one dumpster, they found materials related to the case, but he wouldn't go into detail.

"Based on the fact that Ms. Belmonte's car, purse, wallet and cell phone were left at the residence, we believe the circumstances were extremely suspicious," Rakofsky said. "And we've been vigorously searching since the report of the disappearance."

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Pembroke Pines Police at (954) 431-2200 or Crimestoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.

Neighbor Al Quintana says he has known her for 15 years, and she is one of the original neighbors on the block.

"I was shocked earlier today when I heard," he said.

Belmonte's house was cordoned off by police tape in the early evening on Monday and multiple police cars lined the street.
