The Broward Sheriff's Office had initially reported that two people were shot, but later said shots were fired but no one was hit.

The sheriff's office said there was a 27-year-old woman in their care along with her 3-year-old daughter, who is Kalinowski's child. Both were unharmed.

Charges are pending, and the investigation continues, the sheriff's office said.

The chase started in Davie when deputies tried to servce Kalinowski with a restraining order.

Bill La Rue told NBC 6 what his wife saw from their motor home window.

"She saw the guy jumping out of that red car and he jumped the fence and he ran and next thing she knows there's police cars all over," La Rue said.
