2 of 3 Men Who Broke Into School, Went for a Swim Arrested: Cops

Two of three men were arrested for breaking into a high school, going for a swim and vandalizing the school, authorities said.

Two of three men caught on surveillance video breaking into an Northeast High School in Oakland Park, going for a swim in the pool and vandalizing the property were arrested, the Broward Sheriff's Office said Thursday.

Cory Frost, 22, and Brent Betterly, 23, both from Oakland Park, were arrested. Frost was arrested and admitted to the crime on Oct. 7, authorities said. Betterly turned himself in with an attorney on Oct. 12, according to the sheriff's office.

Authorities were still searching for the third suspect.

The video shows the men, who were in their late teens or early 20s, walking around their bathing suits, going into three school buses and stealing fire extinguishers from them, authorities said. They discharged an extinguisher inside a bus and on the roof of the girl's locker room. Another extinguisher was used to smash a cafeteria window, authorities said.

Frost was being held on $11,500 bond. while Betterly was released on $5,000 bond, a jail official said.

Their attorneys names' weren't immediately known.
