Absolut Unveiling Miami-Inspired Vodka

The Swedish spirits company releases a city-inspired limited-edition flavor

The makers of Absolut Vodka are set to unveil their newest Magic City-inspired blend and present a $50,000 donation to the City of Miami at a reception Wednesday night.

Absolut Miami will be on the menu at City Hall for the reception, where Mayor Tomas Regalado will be presented with the check on behalf of the Miami Arts and Entertainment Council.

"With the help of private donations the Miami Arts & Entertainment Council can continue to support Miami’s ever growing arts and cultural community," Regalado said in a statement. "We wish to thank Absolut for their generous donation in recognition of Miami as one of the prime destinations and a leader in the world of the arts."
 
The Miami Arts and Entertainment Council is a non-profit board that promotes of the arts and cultural activities in the Miami community.

The limited edition drink from the Swedish vodka maker is a blend of orange-blossom and passion fruit.

Wednesday's reception is from 5 to 7 p.m. The Fontainebleau is also hosting an Absolut Miami party Thursday night.
