Hollywood Police say they've arrested a suspect in the home invasion robbery and attack on a 91-year-old man last month.

Floyd E. Nathan, 54, was arrested Wednesday night and charged with battery, burglary and home invasion in the Jan. 20 incident, Hollywood Police said.

Police say 91-year-old Sidney Lee and his wife were outside doing yard work when Nathan pulled up to their home in the 1000 block of N. 13th Court and entered through a side door.

When Nathan encountered Lee inside the home, he began punching him before fleeing the scene with Lee's wallet, police said.

Surveillance video from the neighborhood showed Nathan driving through the neighborhood before parking and walking into the residence, police said.

Nathan was arrested after police received a CrimeStoppers tip and linked him to the crime scene through physical evidence, authorities said.

“It was a pretty brazen crime," Hollywood Police Lt. Diana Pereira said. “To batter somebody who is an elderly person…even though you might be doing yard work you have to be aware of things that are happening, be vigilant."

Nathan was being held without bond, and it was unknown whether he has an attorney.
