Elderly Couple Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide in Tamarac: BSO

An elderly couple was found dead in a home in Tamarac Wednesday morning in an apparent murder-suicide, authorities said.
Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Keyla Concepcion said deputies were called to the home in the 7800 block of Exeter Boulevard East around 5:40 a.m. where the caretaker of the elderly couple reported hearing what sounded like gunshots.
A SWAT team responded and entered the home and found the 85-year-old man and 83-year-old woman dead. Neither was identified.
The incident is still being investigated, Concepcion said.
