    A fire left a barn at Gulfstream Park charred, but officials said visitor activity at the racing park and casino should not be affected. NBC 6's Julia Bagg has the story. (Published Friday, July 26, 2013)

    Officials were investigating a small fire at a Gulfstream Park barn early Thursday morning.

    The fire charred the barn at the casino and racetrack located at 901 South Federal Highway at about 2:30 a.m., according to officials.

    Fire crews were able to put out the flames quickly and said no animals were hurt.

    Fire Rescue at Double Tree Hotel in Miami Beach

    Investigators have not yet said what caused the fire.

    Gulfstream Park officials said the fire damage will not affect visitor activity at the park.
