Florida Couple Involved Child, 13, in Drug Deals: Deputies

Husband and wife accused of involving 13-year-old in drug deals

A Florida husband and wife accused of trafficking in prescription drugs involved their 13-year-old child in at least one of the sales.

Marko Capers, 32, and wife Keyanta Capers, 35, were arrested Thursday on charges of trafficking prescription drugs, drug possession, and involving a minor child in the sale of drugs, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said Friday.

Both were being held without bond Friday and it was unknown whether they have an attorney.

The couple, from Sanford, had been under investigation since last September when authorities received information of illegal drug activity at their home, the sheriff's office said.

Agents with the City County Investigative Bureau conducted a series of undercover operations and made controlled purchases at the home, the sheriff's office said.

On at least one occasion, the couple's teen child completed a sale of illegal drugs, the sheriff's office said.

Agents executed a search warrant at the home Thursday and found numerous illegal prescription pills and quantities of MDMA, also known as "Molly," the sheriff's office said.

The couple was expected to make their first appearance in bond court Friday afternoon.
