A Fort Pierce woman, who was upset about a missing bag of crab legs, ended up being arrested after yelling and cursing at neighbors and police, police records show.

Fort Pierce Police initially arrived to Lisa Mato’s home to investigate a possible burglary but concluded that no crime had been committed.

Matos shared her home with various roommates and told police she paid her rent by purchasing food for the house, her arrest report said. Yet, she yelled and told the police officer that her food was all gone.

The officer noticed that Matos was drunk and determined that no crime had been committed. But Matos continued yelling, police said.

After Matos grabbed several packets of chicken and began cursing and yelling at authorities and neighbors, she was arrested, the police report said.

Matos initially refused to give her name or date of birth to police during the Oct.17 incident. She was charged with disorderly intoxication and resisting an officer without violence. It wasn’t immediately known if she had an attorney.
