Authorities are investigating after a Weston man who had been missing for a week was found dead inside his car in what cops believe was a homicide.

The Broward Sheriff Office says the body of Kris Smalls, 42, was found Sunday evening in the 2100 block of Pasa Verde Lane inside his Mercedes SUV.

Smalls was reported missing on March 18 under suspicious circumstances, and BSO missing persons detectives had started searching for him.

Now authorities believe foul play was involved and are investigating the death as a homicide.

The Broward County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of his death.

The BSO is asking anyone with information to call Broward CrimeStoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
