Homeless Man Tried to Use Woman's Credit Card to Pay for Pedicure: Cops

A homeless man said he thought the credit card he found on the ground was a "blessing from god" and tried to use it to pay for a pedicure, authorities said.
Jonah Troutman, 27, remains at the Volusia County jail on $1,500 on Tuesday. He was arrested on Saturday and faces charges of illegal use of credit cards and petit theft.
Troutman told authorities that he thought the Mastercard was a gift card and that finding it was a blessing, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office police report said.
He said he knew the card didn't belong to him, the report said. The card belonged to a Deltona woman, who authorities have not yet been able to reach.
On Saturday, Troutman went to "Nancy's Nails" for a pedicure, and after he got the service, the owner tried to swipe the card twice, but it was declined, police said.
The nail spa owner said he wants to press charges against Troutman.
It wasn't immediately known if Troutman had an attorney.
