How Facebook Changes Impact the News You Receive From NBC 6

Some viewers have asked how they can be sure to receive local news from NBC 6

Facebook announced this week that it is tweaking its news feed algorithm to emphasize posts from friends and family. But that change could cause Facebook users to see fewer posts from media companies like NBC 6.

Some viewers have asked how they can be sure to continue to receive local news they count on from NBC 6. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to guarantee you see everything from NBC 6.

Take these quick steps to be sure you still get Facebook posts from NBC 6 in your news feed.

Go to NBC 6’s Facebook page and be sure you’ve liked the page.

On your mobile device, click on "Following" and you receive three options. If you'd like to see every post from NBC 6, click "See First." If you'd prefer to see what the Facebook algorithm serves you, click "Default," and Facebook will show you posts based on how often you engage NBC 6's content.
