    A man who tried to rob a Miramar bank but left when the teller was taking too long to give him money was taken into custody Tuesday morning, police said.

    The incident happened around 9 a.m. at the Chase bank at 6860 Miramar Parkway when the suspect handed a teller a note demanding cash, Miramar Police spokeswoman Tania Rues said.

    Rues said the teller took too long for the robber, and he walked out of the bank empty handed. He was quickly apprehended by Miramar Police, Rues said.

    The suspect hasn't been identified.
