Vice President Joe Biden's wife Jill Biden will deliver the commencement address Friday at the Broward College graduation ceremony.
The ceremony will take place at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise at 3 p.m.
Biden has been an educator for more than 30 years and has taught English in community colleges for the past 18 years. She still teaches at a community college in Northern Virginia.
On Thursday, Biden arrived in South Florida for a visit to the Coast Guard base in Miami Beach, where she met with spouses of Coast Guard members for a question and answer session.
The visit was part of the Joining Forces campaign started by Biden and First Lady Michelle Obama to give support to service members and their families.
