A man was arrested and faces charges of sexual battery on a minor after two girls came forward to say he sexually assaulted them, Miami police said Wednesday.
Authorities said they learned of the first case involving 61-year-old Sergio Perez Borroto after a 14-year-old girl told her parents that seven years earlier, Borroto had sexually assaulted her, but she didn't tell anyone because she was scared.
When Borroto was arrested for that case, a second girl came forward to say that the same situation had occured with her, authorities said.
Authorities said they believe Borroto may have lured other children inside his house by using candy.
He faces two counts of sexual battery on a minor and two counts more counts of sexual battery, which he cannot get bond for. It wasn't immediately known if he had an attorney.
