Man Fatally Shot Another After Fight: Cops

Jerry Louis faces a charge of first-degree murder

A man was charged with first-degree murder for fatally shooting a Hollywood man after he fought with him, authorities said.

Isidro Torres, 44, and Jerry Louis, 20, fought when Louis cut through the Pembroke Park business where Torres worked restoring boats and cars, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.

An hour later, Louis came back with a weapon and shot him, authorities said. Torres was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital, but was pronounced dead at 5:30 p.m.

Louis was arrested about 30 minutes later at his mother's home in West Park.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call authorities or Crime Stopppers at 954-493- TIPS (8477).

His attorneys name wasn't immediately known.
