Monday will be mostly sunny and mainly dry in South Florida with highs in the upper 80s.

The combination of high pressure and a drier airmass will prompt mostly sunny skies.  Though a stray shower may move onshore, mostly communities will remain dry.

It will be breezy with winds from the east at 10-20 mph and gusts to around 25 mph. As a result, the rip current risk at local beaches will remain elevated.  Beachgoers are urged to stay near the lifeguards.

By Wednesday, deeper moisture will move into South Florida from the south. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected from midweek through the weekend.
