Miami Fire Rescue spokesman Lt. Ignatius Carroll describes a shooting which claimed the life of one man and sent another to the hospital.
One man was killed and another critically injured in a shooting in Miami late Friday night, officials said.
The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. at a home in the area of Northeast 3rd Avenue and 58th Street, Miami Fire Rescue Spokesman Lt. Ignatius Carroll said.
One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene. The other man was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition, Carroll said.
It's unknown whether anyone else was inside the home at the time of the shooting, Carroll said. Police are still investigating the incident.
No other information was immediately known.
