The Broward Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday released the names of two men accused of stealing a car and crashing it into a Pompano Beach home.
Ed Philo and Delphun Strockson were taken into custody after the Tuesday night car theft, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Philo, 21, was held at Broward’s Main Jail on one count of grand theft auto, two counts of resisting an officer without violence, two counts of leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage and a traffic violation pertaining to driving with a suspended driver’s license, jail records show.
His jail photo showed him with cuts and blood on his forehead and a swollen eyelid.
As of noon Wednesday, Strockson had not been admitted into a jail, and the charges against him weren’t immediately available.

The incident began around 6:20 p.m. when deputies stopped the car in the 3300 block of Northeast Seventh Street, minutes after it had been reported stolen from Shop Smart convenience store at 680 NE 33rd St., the agency said.
During the stop, the driver suddenly sped off before crashing the car into the house in the 900 block of Northeast 24th Street, the agency said.
The two men inside the car tried to flee on foot but were quickly apprehended by deputies, the agency said.
People were inside the home at the time but they weren't injured. Neighbor David Tansill said the Cadillac went through the living room, narrowly missing a man inside.

"It was a very loud boom, as soon as I ran out, there was already cops here chasing them, and police officers apprehended him really quick," Tansill said. "Everybody's safe, nobody got hurt which is the good thing."
The homeowner and his family stayed at a nearby hotel Tuesday night.
