Predawn temperatures in South Florida dropped into the 50s to lower 60s early Tuesday but were expected to reach the upper 70s.

Although readings are still below average, they’re about 10 degrees warmer than Monday’s starting points.

Plan on a mostly sunny morning. There will be a gradual increase in clouds early afternoon, but it will remain partly sunny and pleasant.

The warming trend will continue Wednesday as highs are expected to hit the lower 80s. It will likely remain dry for the next several days.

At this time, a cold front is forecasted for the weekend with a few spotty showers.
