Escaped Prisoner Found at Kendall Regional Hospital: Cops

A prisoner escaped Miami-Dade Police in the area of Southwest 7th Street and 73rd Avenue during a criminal investigation at about 10 a.m. Wednesday, but was later found at Kendall Regional Hospital, authorities said.

Pembroke Pines Police are looking for a prisoner who escaped from the South Florida State Mental Hospital Saturday night.

Leandro Guymaraes, 30, was court ordered to the facility due to his Schizophrenia and previous violent tendencies, police said.

Guymaraes also has a warrant out for his arrest out of Miami-Dade County, officials said.
