Miami Police called off a search for a missing 10-year-old boy who disappeared from his home on Wednesday.
Police said witnesses told them Jason A. Lopez was seen in his neighborhood and is not in danger.
Police had said earlier that he was at his home, located at 750 NW 56th Street, with his step-father because he had been suspended from school. The step-father fell asleep around 9 a.m. and three hours later, when the man woke up, the boy was missing.
The step-father called the boy's mother and told her he was missing.
