Showers and storms remain in the forecast Tuesday afternoon as muggy conditions continue to plague South Florida in an un-December-like pattern. All this comes after a round of overnight showers and storms blew through the metro area.
As the pattern remains unsettled, it also remains very warm Tuesday with highs again climbing into the lower 80s this afternoon with southeast winds around 10-15 mph.
Any showers will end this evening, leaving partly cloudy skies and lows in the lower 70s.
Showers and storms are again possible Wednesday as highs hit 83 in the afternoon.
Our next cold front should sweep through by Thursday, bringing a break in the humidity and more sunshine to the area.
