Showers and Thunderstorms Expected Monday in South Florida

Wet forecast expected the next few days, temps remain in the mid 80s

Showers and thunderstorms return Monday as a pattern shift across South Florida favors a wet forecast for the days ahead.

Southeast winds will usher in moisture, setting the stage for muggy weather this week. Afternoon highs will still climb into the mid-80s each day but sunshine will be limited in the afternoon hours as storms take over.

Once storms do develop, they will have the potential to produce strong, gusty winds and some locally heavy downpours.

Monday will be partly sunny, with scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms and highs around 84. Tonight will be partly cloudy and warm, with temps near 73.

Tuesday will see early sunshine then partly sunny, scattered showers and thunderstorms, highs around 86.

Wednesday will also be partly sunny, with scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms and highs near 84.
