Suspect Crashed Stolen Car Into Pompano Beach Home, Fled Scene: BSO

Authorities are searching for a suspect who crashed a stolen car into a Pompano Beach home Friday morning.

The suspect crashed the car, a gold Saturn, into the home at 2030 Northwest 3rd Terrace, causing structural damage, Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Gina Carter said.

No one in the home was injured, and the suspect fled the scene.

"I heard a loud noise it sounded like a cannon going off," neighbor Samuel Williams said. "When I came outside the car was completely inside the house."

Code enforcement visited the home and the said it can be fixed.
