Authorities are investigating after taxi driver was shot in his cab in Pompano Beach Friday morning.
Broward Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the 2900 block of Northwest 7th Street around 6 a.m. and found the cab had crashed into a parked car, BSO spokesman Mike Jachles said.
When deputies checked on the driver, they found he'd been shot sometime before the crash, Jachles said.
The unidentified victim was taken by Pompano Beach Fire Rescue to North Broward Medical center for treatment. His condition is unknown.
The shooting and crash are still being investigated.
