Tropical Storm Sean to Pass Northwest of Bermuda Early Friday

Sean was expected to produce one to three inches of rain on Bermuda

Tropical Storm Sean was expected to accelerate northwestward and pass northwest of Bermuda early Friday, forecasters at the National Hurricane Center in Miami said.

As of the latest NHC update, Sean had maximum sustained winds near 65 mph as it moved east-northeast at 13 mph about 335 miles west-northwest of Bermuda.

A Tropical Storm warning remained in effect for Bermuda, as the center of the storm was expected to pass northwest of Bermuda early Friday.

Sean is expected to gain strength and weaken Friday.

Tropical storm force winds were expected by Thursday evening, with one to three inches of rain.
