Weather Forecast: Humidity Rising, Wet Week Ahead

Highs were at 90 Sunday, with a 30 percent chance of rain.

After a pleasant start to the weekend, moisture is on its way up.

Sunday started with more humidity and slightly warmer temperatures than the day before with highs at 90 and a 30 percent chance of rain.

The risk of rip currents will be low, with the UV index in the extreme.

By Monday, a front will stall out over Central Florida, allowing for deep tropical moisture to work into the area. Rain chances will increase to 50 percent Monday and remain high through Thursday.

Some areas could see heavy downpours with 2 to 4 inches of rain throughout the week, with higher numbers possible in isolated areas.

By Friday, high pressure should work its way back in, creating a drier end to the week.
