Saturday will see mostly sunny skies in South Florida, with just a slight chance of rain.

Highs will reach the upper-80s with a stray shower or two possible in the southern zones.

Risk of rip currents will be low on area beaches. Water temperatures will be at 87 degrees and the UV index will be in the extreme.

Plan for another day of higher than average tide levels that could cause flooding in coastal areas, mainly Fort Lauderdale Beach and South Beach. The next high tide will be at 9: 40 a.m. High tides should reach average levels again by Monday.

Sunshine will remain in the forecast for the remainder of the weekend and highs will stay in the upper-80s. Conditions should stay mainly dry throughout the week and a slight cool-down is expected by Thursday and Friday.
