Sunshine will return Friday, helping South Florida dry out after two days of heavy rain.
Partly cloudy afternoons will hold on for the next two days before isolated showers return on Sunday.
Afternoon highs will climb into the upper 80s through the weekend with near-normal humidity levels for early October.
Tropical Storm Karen is moving into the Central Gulf of Mexico, heading to the Northern Gulf Coast states with impacts of rain and wind this weekend. The system will not impact South Florida except for an increase in cloud cover Friday afternoon.
