A beautiful day is in store for Thursday as dry air suppresses widespread shower and thunderstorm chances in South Florida.
Most storms will be inland today as skies average partly cloudy with highs around 88. It will stay partly cloudy with a few showers Thursday night.
In a weakened state, the remnants of what was Tropical Storm Chantal will lift north across the Bahamas later Thursday. Though South Florida remains on the west wide of this system, a pattern shift will send storms our way for Friday and Saturday.
Sunday should be partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms.
