Weather Forecast: Partly Sunny and Hot Wednesday

Slight chance for early showers in South Florida, highs around 90

After a slight chance for showers through mid-morning, expect another hot afternoon under partly sunny skies Wednesday in South Florida.

After some dry air settles in to bring us hazy sunshine for Thursday and Friday, moisture will pool in the region by the weekend.

This will bring in slightly higher storm chances and temperatures remaining near-normal. For Wednesday, highs will reach 90, with lows dropping to 80.

Thursday will see a slight chance for a shower and highs again near 90.

Tropical Depression 2, with 35 mph winds, is moving through the Bay of Campeche Wednesday morning. This system has a narrow window to become a tropical storm before making another landfall in Mexico on Thursday afternoon. If it does intensify, the storm would become “Barry.”
