South Florida saw slightly cooler temperatures on Christmas Day, with highs remaining in the upper 70s.

Wednesday's high was 79, with breezy lows in the upper 60s expected at night. Isolated showers and partly cloudy skies were expected.

There was a high risk of rip currents in area beaches due to a strong northeast wind.

Plenty of moisture will remain through Thursday, with isolated showers and cloudy skies expected during the day.

The next cool front will swing through South Florida early next week.
