Dry, stable air is currently spreading across the state, leading to abundant sunshine Friday in South Florida.

It’s also helping to suppress storm chances and pump up the heat Friday as we prepare for the holiday weekend.

Expect partly cloudy and hot conditions, with highs around 93. Friday night will stay mostly clear and warm, with lows around 75.

A weak cold front will pass through South Florida on Saturday bringing lower humidity to carry us through Monday. Along with the comfortable air mass will come slightly below-average temperatures.

We'll see lower humidity and temps in the mid 80s Saturday and Sunday.

After going the weekend without rain chances, they’ll return next week along with seasonal humidity levels.
