It was a chilly start to the day Wednesday with temps bottoming out in the mid-to-upper 50s.

Skies will clear and give way to upper 70s later Wednesday, but winds will gust in excess of 20 mph at times this afternoon.

Expect a couple of chilly nights ahead with temps dropping to the low-to-mid 50s through Friday morning.

High pressure works its way into our backyard just in time for the weekend. Expect light winds, tons of sun and highs approaching 80.

It'll be even warmer early next week as winds turn to the south. Low-to-mid 80s are a real possibility.
