A Los Angeles coroner's official says toxicology reports that may explain Michael Jackson's death could be completed this week, as hundreds of fans staged an impromptu vigil at the London arena where the singer was supposed to stage his comeback.

"This was going to be the best summer of my life," a fan who just gave his first name, Michael, told Reuters outside London's O2 arena. "I was going to go to five shows altogether, it would have been fantastic. I can't believe rather than coming here to see him perform I'm here to mourn ... It's devastating, it really is."

Some sat quietly beneath a large screen with Jackson's image emblazoned on it; others mourned the Gloved One by singing along in unison to his songs, according to Reuters.

The King of Pop died June 25, less than three weeks before his sold-out "This is It" tour was set to begin. Concert promoter AEG live has given fans the option of a full refund or keeping their tickets as souvenirs.

Meanwhile, Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said Monday that some results from tests to determine what substances Jackson had in his body when he died are in. The remaining results are expected at the end of this week or early next week.

Winter said his office would announce when all the tests are done, then publicly release the results the next day.

Authorities are investigating claims the pop star consumed large amounts of prescription medications. The powerful sedative Diprivan, normally only administered in hospitals, was among items found in his home.
