Last year, Iqua introduced the 603 SUN, a solar-powered Bluetooth headset that stays charged indefinitely with moderate use (maybe one or two hours of talk time per day). Now Scosche has announced that the solCHAT, a solar-powered hands-free speakerphone, is now available. The solCHAT features a built-in solar panel that continuously recharges the solCHAT's lithium-ion battery.

The solCHAT features voice-enabled caller ID that lets you keep your eyes on the road without having to glance at an LCD display. The unit also includes windshield and visor mounting options in the box, along with a USB charging cable and a car adapter for powering the unit directly. The solCHAT costs $99.99 and is now available at Best Buy and direct from www.scosche.com.
