Before you start your workout today, check the brand name of your fitness ball -- it may be one of approximately 3 million under recall.

There have been 47 reports of the balls unexpectedly bursting because of over-inflation.

The balls are distributed by EB Brands of Yonkers, N.Y., under the Bally Total Fitness, Everlast, Valeo and Body Fit labels, the Consumer Product Safety commission said.

The fitness balls were sold between May 2000 and February of this year for $15 to $30 and were produced in China. The recall covers 55-centimeter, 65-centimeter and 75-centimeter sizes.
