Does the saying "you are what you eat" really hold true?
 
Hellmann's and Best Foods conducted a recent survey of nearly 3,000 Americans and their sandwich choices. Participants were asked to select their favorite out of one of eight mouth-watering popular sandwiches, such as turkey, egg salad, and the BLT.
 
Researchers then compared character traits and behaviors with their choices.

When it comes to food selection, club lovers make great employees. They're reliable, committed and loyal. 

"Yeah, I would say I'm easy going and understanding," said Justin Irwin, who's favorite is the chicken salad sandwich. 

Ham and cheese eaters: thoughtful, inquisitive and curious.

While those who prefer turkey are said to be creative, rebellious and free-thinkers. 

No matter how you slice it, what we put in our sandwiches could possibly uncover insights into our passions and personalities.
