NYC has the cultural activities, but it also has the winters and yes it has a beautiful central park, but it also has thousands and thousands of cars, pollution resulting from all those cars and buses, although it is much better it also has crime. Lots of time is spent indoors, when moving from activity to activity if you live in the suburbs or if you need to get to the suburbs it may take you hours to do so. Miami - lots of outside activities, within 30 minutes you can offer lots of different activities, no real winter so all year outside activities less time required in front of stationary games and activities.
