South Beach Grinch Targeting Synagogues and Churches
Police think a fat burglar is targeting religious buildings on the beach

Miami Beach Police think they have a modern day Grinch on their hands.
In recent weeks, seven synagogues and churches have been the victims of theft by a single culprit, police said Tuesday.
So much for holy days, we guess. The thief snatches up the sanctuary's video and audio equipment before he makes off like Santa, minus the chimney escape.
Police actually believe the suspect resembles St. Nick's rotund physique.
Witnesses have described the burglar as a heavy-set man with short, dark hair and a clean-shaven face. The long white beard would probably slow him down during getaways.
Ba humbug!
