HUD Handyman, Brother Electrocuted by Power Lines

Rescue workers found man on fire on Coconut Grove rooftop

A maintenance man is dead after he was electrocuted by power lines while he was working on the roof of a home in Coconut Grove.

Miami Fire Rescue arrived on the seen Tuesday afternoon to find the man still on fire from the electric jolt.

His brother tried to climb a ladder to help the unidentified man, but he was also shocked by the electric current from the power lines, officials said.

The brother was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital, but his condition is not known.

It's unclear what the man was fixing on the roof, but the power lines may have been blocked by some tree limbs that were located near where the man was working.
