Hollywood Cover-Up Cops to Be Fired

Pulling a "Walt Disney" will cost five officers their badges

It took nearly a year, but the Hollywood cops responsible for trying to pull a fast one on an innocent motorist looks like they are about to lose their jobs.

Hollywood Police Chief Chad Wagner reportedly sent pink slips to five officers involved in a lame-duck attempt to frame Alexandra Torrensvilas in February for a traffic accident that one of the boys in blue actually caused.

Officers Joel Francisco, Dewey Pressley, Sgt. Andrew Diaz and civilian community service officer Karim Thomas were all placed on administrative leave after the incident, but there was no way they were going to "Walt Disney" their way out of this one. Crime scene technician Andre Tomossi has also been implicated in the plot.

All the evidence of the frame up was recorded on Francisco's dashboard cam in his police cruiser.

On Feb. 17, Francisco, an 11-year- veteran of the force crashed into the back of Torrensvilas while she was at a stop light. Instead of taking blame for the accident, Francisco and Pressley pressed Torrensvilas into saying she had been drinking and then they immediately booked her for a DUI.

Then with the help of the other officers, Pressley said he would pull a "Walt Disney" and make up a story about a cat jumping out of Torrensvilas' window, distracting the drunk driver, who then put her car in reverse to hit the police cruiser.

"As far as I'm concerned. I'm going to put words in his mouth. She went to accelerate and a cat jumped out of the window at which point he thought it could have been a pedestrian, which distracted him," Pressley tells Diaz, another veteran of the force. "I mean what's the chances of hitting a f---in drunk when a cat jumps out of the window?"

The charges were eventually dropped against Torrensvilas.

Maybe the officers will get a chance to work for Walt Disney after all. We hear the Dumbo ride at Disney World is hiring.
