Treacy Text: “I Want Her Head”

Courts release text messages from Wayne Treacy's phone

Text messages released Thursday may reveal what sinister intentions Wayne Treacy had for Josie Lou Ratley just moments before he stomped the girl nearly to death in March.

The text messages, which were retrieved from Treacy's phone by police, are part of the first-degree attempted murder case that has garnered national attention, the Sun-Sentinel reports.

In one text, Treacy pins, "This bxtch ran her mouth bout my bro who she knew is dead. Nao I want her head."

It's unclear who the 15-year-old was texting at the time, but it was just hours before he attacked Ratley as she waited for her bus at Deerfield Beach Elementary School.

On March 17, Treacy kicked and stomped on Ratley's head and banged it into the concrete sidewalk until the girl was unconscious.

It's a near miracle Ratley survived the horrific beating, doctors have said. She was recently discharged from Broward General Medical Center after 41 days - most of which was spent in a medically induced coma -- and is currently in a rehabilitation center attempting to regain her motor functions.

Ratley has severe brain damage.

The attack allegedly was sparked by text messages Ratley may have sent about Treacy's older brother, who had committed suicide only a few months prior to the attack. Those alleged text messages were not on Treacy's phone.

"Snap her neck then stomp her skull. Fasted way I could think of," Treacy sent to a group of his friends, police claim.

The text messages poke a hole in the defense of Treacy's attorney and his parents, who claim the boy snapped and didn't plan to attack Ratley. Authorities also claim to have found a will at Treacy's home just after the attack.

After the attack, Treacy allegedly texted to a friend, "'Hey, I think I'm going to prison, I think I just killed someone."
