Nothing tarnishes a clean cut image like ink.
So when Miley Cyrus, AKA Hannah Montana, showed off what looked like a new tattoo at the Fontainebleau Hotel pool on Thursday, the buzz about Hollywood's new bad girl quickly took shape.
The alleged tattoo reads "Just Breathe" under her left breast. How do we know, you ask? Well, Cyrus was prancing around the pool in a hot pink bikini.
Clearly, we're not on Disney Channel anymore.
You can kind of get a gritty glimpse of the tattoo here and the Internet has been buzzing with the news all day.
Cyrus, now 17, has done her best to shed her Virgin Mary TV persona. She posed semi-nude for the cover of Vanity Fair in 2005 and then performed around a stripper pole at the Teen Choice Awards.
Maybe the news of a Hannah doll dropping F-bombs wasn't such a mistake after all. Cyrus, who shed her Hannah Montana stage name for the first time during her nationwide tour, performed at the American Airlines Arena on Wednesday in front of a packed house.
The "Just Breathe" tattoo is becoming a bit of a cult favorite among teen songstresses. Troubled celeb Lindsay Lohan has a similar tattoo on her wrist.
Of course, Hannah (Miss Cyrus if you're nasty), may have been using the tattoo to remind herself of the location of her lungs. You can send us the check for the free PR spin later, Miley.
