JT Makes SI's All-Decade Team
Jason Taylor and two former Canes make prestigious list

Disappearing from the NFL landscape for two years aside, Jason Taylor was named the most dominant defensive end of the past decade, according to Sport Illustrated.
The Dolphins perennial All-Pro and all-world pass rusher beat out former New York Giants great Michael Strahan for the coveted right defensive end spot on the mythical 2000's All-Decade Team.
Ironically, the two had almost identical stats for the decade, but we like to think JT's extra-curricular activities put him over the top.
Which would you rather have? A movie-star handsome, dancing hunk or a gap-toothed jester who sings the five-dollar foot long song with Jared? No brainer.
On the field, Taylor was no slouch either, winning the defensive MVP award once and terrorizing quarterbacks on a weekly basis. He also had a nose for the end zone, scoring more touchdowns than any defensive lineman in NFL history.
The U was also properly represented in the All-Decade team. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed both made the squad.
SI gets a pass for its selection for head coach of the team, Bill Belichick.
At least it wasn't Cam Cameron or Nick "I Ain't Leaving" Satan, er, Saban.
