Already infused with $50,000 from "Price is Right" host Drew Carey, South Florida's Daily Bread Food Bank is about to get a whole lot cheesier.
Sorrento Cheese is donating one ton of cheese to the organization which will be used to help feed families throughout South Florida during Thanksgiving, according to WPTV.
Daily Bread, a non-profit organization that distributes millions of pounds of food to needy people throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, had its Lauderdale Lakes warehouse gutted by fire on Oct. 8.
Over 93,000 pounds of food were destroyed in the fire, the group's entire supply at the time.
But since news of the fire broke, donations of food and money have been rolling in. Carey, who had given $50,000 to the organization after Hurricane Wilma in 2005, had pledged to donate $50,000 if his soccer team, the Seattle Sounders beat the Kansas City Wizards in their game on Oct. 17. The Sounders won 3-2.
